After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Nice deal, but no one is trading in a 13 Pro Max for a free Pixel 7 lol

I've tried Google Fi Support Chat twice now, and they say I am meeting the promotion and I'll get an email immediately if I'm not, but won't offer to escalate. Any suggestions?
I've participated in Google Fi promotions before, so I know what the Fi app would normally show.
I don't trust the Google CSR at all. Unless the system shows the promotion has been met, I wouldn't believe them at all.

I've had terrible experiences in the past. One time they charged me back after assuring I had met promotional terms, even though I had repeated assurances on the phone and chat.

Another time I returned a phone since they didn't apply the promo and it took exactly 26 days for them to refund me. I opened up 3 cases and must have send them 10 plus emails just to get my money back. Google CS both at Fi and Google store are just plain deplorable.

So what should we do....if no sim sent....use esim we are stuck...use physical sim we are stuck....if we order sim though fi it takes 2 weeks fir free shipping...else 15$ for day... promo clock not stopping...is this Google scam 😉
I don't know man. I'm at a loss. Have chatted with Fi a few times. The CSR says I should have gotten a physical SIM. And now they claim I should activate whichever way I like. And after 60 days, the system will update.

Use esim to activate new Google fi line on iPhone, then order the Pixel on the same line.

That way your number is already active on Fi and when you order the new Pixel device on the same line, you don't have any port in requirements to fulfill.

There's NO issue with eSIM. Give it some time. there's already been a few people that already confirmed eSIM worked and promotion checked off it was activated.

Who confirmed that? As far as I know, no one has their promo activation confirmed after using eSIM. It still doesn't show activated and the counter started in Fi website.

When I click promotion details ,here is my status , except last one that clearly says need to be on fi network for another 59 days, which seems self-explanatory, when 60 days due last one should be check marked.. by then all conditions are meet.

You guys shouldn't worry about moving from esim to physical sim, it already tracked on your fi savings.

$200 off Pixel 7 --- $200,00

✓Purchased on Dec 20

✓Bought a device on Dec 20

✓Received $200 off

✓Activated the device on Dec 23

✓Transferred a number to Fi

Stay active on Fi for 59 more days

I ordered 2 Pixel 7 PROs....

Just received them in the mail, activated the first one (opened a Ting Mobile SIM to transfer over).

Had to do with eSIM obviously... no physical sim was given, but I'll update in a few days if I see the google FI app tracking for the promo.

Next step is my iphone 11 trade in (got it from Cricket - $148 all in for device + 1 month service with port in, phone is locked to cricket but that's ok for trade in). Will update on that as well.

Did you use a physical Sim or an eSim?

Mine was eSIM. I can confirm it's shown activated and says I have 59 more consecutive days left for both $200 and $250 promotion.

Did you try making a phone call on it? I did, maybe that helped...

For me, it's been 3 days since activation and my counter still shows not activated. I have already raised a complaint with CS.

Thanks for sharing; your example does suggest that eSIM alone isn't the issue and that it's something else that we have not figured out. It's great that your account has already shown that it's progressing but some of us hasn't seen the same indication that Google has shown all of us the counter. The repercussions of that would be Google Fi charging us back for not completing the promos when we actually did. You don't have to worry, fortunately, since you already see the counter. The problem is that some others haven't.

I purchased on Dec 18 and activated Dec 22 and the same $200 off Pixel 7 is still considered in progress. Nothing else is there except for the $250 off promo that is also in the same status, which is separate from the port in promo.

What response did you get from CS? I don't trust those guys unless the system shows activated. In the past they told me that I was all good. Then mysteriously my Payment method was charged for the promo.

They took my complaint and forwarded it to promo team. Haven't heard from them again.

I'm confused. The Cricket deal I'm seeing on their website says you get an iPhone 11 for $50 if you sign up for 3 months of service at $60/mth. So that's at least $230 plus tax (on the nonpromotional price i assume).
