That's how I did it with my previous completed Fi deal. When you have stayed the required number of days, the last check item changed to "Kept device active.." (past tense) and the promo got moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. At that time, you can go into your Fi account on the web site-->Your Plan, scroll down to the bottom and select Leave Google Fi to cancel.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge to everyone. How are you able to get so many Fi promos this year? I know that you've said that you are a very helpful participant in Howardforums and have been rewarded with referrals b/c of it. Do you have a few throw-away Tracfone numbers at all times?

I created a new Google account and a GV number for each Fi deal. I do have about 10 TracFone lines going on to earn Rewards points, but I don't port from TF. With my TF Rewards points, I've got at least a dozen refurbished iPhones11's and XRs just for the $15 cost of the time plan that they require for each phone. I don't use iPhones, so I've sold most of them and keep a few for trade-in.

Fi charges for like every byte of data that use rather than a flat $10 fee. Say you used 105 Mb in a month, then you'd be charged $1.05.
Turning off the data will keep it at zero of course. I was on Fi for years but eventually found cheaper alternatives like Visible. Although Fi's new family plan is not bad if you can find 3 other people to be in your 'family'
Thanks

Thanks for the screenshot of the email of the referral confirmation.
Do you know roughly how long after activation does Google Fi send an email with the referral confirmation? Is it a few days or weeks? Thanks.
May i ask how you added the referral? Did you use the referral link from another account to join Fi and order the phone in the new account? Or did you contact support to have the code added manually after activation?

I got an E-mail confirmation for the referral the next day after having it manually added with support.

Has anyone signed up with a referral link -not trying to add the referral code in the promo box- to use this promo and got a confirmation E-mail for the referral?

I got a physical sim from Amazon and activated with that. Fi account picked up the activation and countdown of 60 days is working fine. But do it at your own risk because some folks here suggested it still might jeopardize the promotions. I got two more P7s and will activate them the same way.

Most are now reporting receiving no physical SIM. I activated mine with eSIM and was a little concerned, I have never used eSIM before, but so far all seems on track, my time required to get the promo is counting down in my Fi account. I have another arriving in the next day or two and I assume that also will have to be eSIM. Other have reported that they were able to buy a physical SIM elsewhere and just used that but I dont see any reason to do so, unless you needed the eSIM for your other carrier.

What does your bill for each Fi account show?
Does it show prorated billing?
How long do you wait after porting to buy the phone from Fi?
Where do you sell the iPhones? FB local or eBay?

1. I currently have 4 Fi deals on going. Each full monthly bill is $26.56, including taxes & fees. I've attached the billing info of 3 accounts. The 4th account (another Samsung S22 30-day deal) was activated this morning and hasn't got a bill yet.
2. I've never got a prorated billing. As shown in the screenshots, the 1st billing always started 2 days after activation, and the next ones start on the same day of the month. One month shows $1.55 because I had a $20 referral credit and $1.01 excess trade-in credit.
3. I enter the port info when placing the order. Porting takes place when the phone is activated.
4. I sell my phones to resellers like WeCellTrade, Gizmogo, Trademore. I no longer sell on Ebay after encountering some flaky buyers. I've never used Craiglist or social-networking sites.

Actually used the referral link after signing up for Fi account. After that contacted CS and one told me referral was applied. The other person told me it wasn't and it would not work with the Pixel 2022 promotion.
I've not even gotten the activation confirmed at this point.

Could you please advise on any reddit thread (or any other resource) to read more about TF reward points.
I got 2 iPhone 11s - close to $250 OTD for each for this deal. So it would be great to know of other ways to get refurbished which are cheaper. Thanks.
