After you've completed the required days, the promos will be moved from the In Progress column to the Earned column. That's when it's safe for you to cancel your Fi service. In your Fi account, click on Account-->Your Plan. Scroll down until you see Leave Fi, click on it. It will give you options on what to do (cancel, pause, port out etc). Since the 1st bill usually started 2 days after your service was activated, the 61st day should be 2 or more days before the 3rd billing period starts. Cancel promptly on the 61st day and you won't be charged the 3rd bill.

you don't have to since even iphone 8 or SE 2nd gen @$150 will suffice ($600-200-250-150). If you want Pro then iphone 11 is enough since it fetches $330 as trade in ($900-300-250-330).

Does anyone have experience of Google Fi trade ins that are stuck in transit? Mine shows

"Preparing for Delivery
Arrived at Hub NASHVILLE, TN 37227
December 26, 2022, 11:46 am"

I know I should give it more time, but my experience with USPS with no updates for 2 days (this has been more than 3 days at the time of writing) has been bad, and may have an over 50% chance of lost package. Does Google Fi honor trade in values when the package is lost by USPS?

Is this a new iphone 11? Also could you please advise on how long does it take for the Cricket Phone to unlock? Thanks.
Yes new. It takes 6 months to unlock but as has been mentioned already, the Google Fi trade in doesn't need to be unlocked.

My most recent three trade-in shipments show "Delivered, left with an individual" on 12/21 and today 12/29. But the two shipments I mailed in May and Oct to this day still show "Moving In Network" and never "Delivered" although they were inspected and paid 2 days after their last tracking entries in USPS. I think the warehouse sent someone over to pick up those shipments.

Thanks. One last question. Was the tax on the full price of the phone or on the reduced $50 price?

You won't. They charge per MB, a penny per.

Just curious, does that GV number belong to the same Google account used for ordering the phone? In which step that you had to pay the $3 ? I've ported in 4 GV numbers for 4 Fi deals, each number belongs to the Google account that ordered the phone, and never had to pay the $3 to unlock/port.

I just activated the way you have. I saw it said that I needed to unlock the GV#, but I moved on with activating, expecting to encounter it later but hoping not to. I was able to complete the process without seeing the bump again. My GV# did belong to the account used for this promotion.

When I placed the phone order, I entered my GV number (for same account) and clicked on the function to verify the number. It came back saying the number is eligible. I proceeded with completing the order, never had to enter any more info about the GV account, PIN, etc or paid anything.

At activation, it said the number needed to be ported from GV and proceeded to do that. Took one minute as seen in the clock in the attachments below. Never got prompted for unlocking or payment.

When ordering, there's a box to enter the port-in number and check its eligibility.

$50 for the phone, plus $60 for one month service plus $25 activation. You need to go to a store. Online deal requires the months of service.
Okay thanks. I called one store that has it for $50. need to pay tax based on full price of $500 though.
