Does anyone know how to fix promo on Fi savings page doesn't show countdown after phone has been activated with e-sim successfully? Many people said that contacting Google Fi support is useless. Thanks in advance.

Are you using a computer (not the Fi app) to check the Fi Savings status? If yes, did you click on the two promotion entries to see the check lists? If you did that and don't see the countdown, then there's a problem. You'll need to contact Fi Support or try activating the phone again with a physical SIM. Some people did that and it fixed the problem.

Another data point here as a current Fi subscriber for a new additional line to use up my trade in credit from prior Samsung Flip4 deal

- Ordered a Pixel 7 Pro on December 23
- Received it on January 3
- Activated the eSIM same day at 3pm with port from GV w/o unlock
- "Fi Savings" Counter updated the next day after 8am, January 4 for both $300 & $250 counting down 60 days

Now crossing my fingers after my trade in goes ok, I can payoff device w/ my trade in credits to close out this deal after 60 days
What was your existing device when you placed the order for P7 Pro? Flip 4?

How did Fi give you trade in credit from the previous deal? Bill credits or reduce to original payment?

Does anyone know when you pay with Paypal, do you get the trade-in credit refund back to your Paypal or as a Google Fi credit in your account? I paid with Paypal for one of the devices.

In the E-mail for the trade-in it shows credit method as Paypal but I saw on Reddit someone getting Google Fi credit instead of getting a refund to his associated Paypal CC two years ago.

He/she also had refund method clearly showing as Paypal in his/her trade-in E-mail.

It goes back to your paypal. If its more than what you paid, the rest goes to your fi account.

Great thanks. So you personally received a trade-in refund on your Paypal?

I saw this post on Reddit which got me concerned, but there might be some other issue with his order - trade-in - which caused the Google Fi credit. And the post is two years old.

Flip4 but I opened a new line for the P7 Pro.

Any trade credits above purchase price is applied to Fi account. Trade credits can be applied to device financing as per: https://support.google.com/fi/ans...9364?hl=en

PROMO ISSUES UPDATE - esim pixel7 activated, showing two devices, no promo progress showing , no count down. After contacting CSR 4 times and no help I turned to Reddit! Completed a form from there and I finally got almost everything fix! All check marks show progress ( except turn phone in iPhone SE in my case )! Under my account it still shows two devices but at this point I guess it doesn't matter since all the check marks are OK. If you need help I would suggest to use Reddit google fi

I also managed to have the 2 devices issue fixed following up with the specialist. You should have probably received an E-mail from google-fi-support confirming the tracking being fixed with your promotional device. I replied to that E-mail from the specialist and he managed to fix the 2 Pixel devices showing in my account.

Another data point here.
My activation with Pixel 7 Pro IMEI2 -E-sim- so far went flawlessly
Jan 3rd afternoon activated the device using E-sim
Jan 4th morning the promotion tracking correctly shows the activation and the counter started.

Definitely Reddit is the way to go.
I directly escalated with their Reddit support and the response was prompt. And my issue was fixed on the same day.

Pretty easy, go to Reddit - googlefi then scroll to the about, there you should see the link to request support. You do need your previous CSR CASE ticket ID.

Anyone here trade a different device than originally stated when ordering?

I was able to find a cheap iPhone X I would rather trade them instead of the iPhone 12 mini in perfect condition.

Fearing it would eff up my promo, basically. I understand the TIV will change, but it's still an iphone ... right?
