Costco usually has Klipsch R-12SWi 12 inches Wireless Powered Subwoofer for $199. Currently the price is showing $279.99 but very frequently they offer $80 discount. For those who have Costco membership, R-100 is not a good deal.

totally agree. get the 12' for 200$ or better yet get two of those bad boys like i did and scare your neighbors!

I just bought Klipsch The Five. Which one should I get for those? I am new to the Klipsch world. Very impressed with The Five as a tv set and for my turntable.

The JBL 550p is available for $190 from JBL.com with free shipping and is a way better sub than this one. I own both and there's no comparison.

I also think a monoprice 12" which you can get for $150 or less (I paid $90) is a superior option. This Klipsch is boomy, muddy and uneven. It is no good for music, and for home theater it is barely acceptable. There are way better options for the same money. Mine also doesn't shut off anymore, so I have to unplug it when not in use.
