Quick question, I've only seen this movie once but I haven't been able to figure out why they sent human Pilots over automated guided missiles. Did the enemy have GPS jamming, that's why the guided missiles didn't work? Because they were able to do a strike attack on the enemy base regardless
It's a pretty massive plot hole. Just ignore it like every other plot hole you find in movies.

Because it would have been a completely unexciting movie without those fighter pilot scenes.
If it were MA, I'd probably buy it at this price, but instead I may wait for a deal on the 4KBR. This is one of those movies that I'd love to have in highest possible quality. It's a throwback to the 90s when Top Gun on laserdisc was used as a home theater demo disc.
FWIW, RedBox is already selling the used blu-ray (not 4k) for $5.99, but the 4K disc gets stellar reviews (as expected) and really outclasses the blu-ray release. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/To...ay/258948/
