Just the beginning. CES is in couple weeks (Jan 5!) when the C3, B3, and A3 are announced. If they are substantial upgrades (all the lines getting EVO panel and EVO firmware, the C3 / G3 get the new OLED tech that will be 20% brighter) then all existing models will see price decreases starting...
so no need to come and reply.

just bought a new 65" OLED C2 evo for $530 at woot so I don't need it.
Nope. I am calling BS. You absolutely did not buy a C2 for 65" $530. You can't even get the 42" one for much less than $800. You are straight up 100% lying. That, or you got conned.

worth buying.. I have 65C8, which is still immaculate. But it does not do 120Hz. This is almost a steal.

Is it better to buy from Costco for $1375 (coming with 5 year warranty) than buying from LG for $1210 ?
Not able to decide.
If you watch TV constantly, it might be better to pay extra to get a replacement for burn-ins if that warranty covers that.

G3 will not be 20% brighter, the panels are already being pushed to the near limit.

Main reason Oleds will drop in price is because QD-Oled technology is superior. Samsung will continue to dominate and force LG to lower prices.

I believe you got one. I also believe that Woot probably sold 3 or 4 at that price as a publicity stunt. The purchase map on Woot only lit up 3 states for that item. Congrats on being one of the 3 or 4.

Last May LG announced a new tech that makes oled 20% brighter...assuming all the new high end models will get it.

The C2 is 40 lbs while the B2 is 55. Seems like they should be about the same weight. Any idea why the difference?
