Maybe this would be good price and device , so maybe someone who owns one can give their experience.
This year I did buy some tech gear that worked for me. I did buy ASUS 17 inch chromebook for 79 dollars (OPEN BOX excellent condition with EOS date of June 2029. And a Lenovo 2-1 11 inch chromebook for 99 dollars, with touch screen and EOS date of June 2028. So I have Chrome devices.
I bought a Acer Desktop (laptop in a desktop case) that has Celeron Chipset in it , and is quite popular on SD and has many threads on it, and costs about 88 dollars, ... and has windows 10/11 on it, with NVMe with OS it, plus slot for SSD storage if needed. I mention this Desktop because I have put ChromeOS FLEX on it and it works great, if you wanted a chrome OS on it. With no EOS date.
Maybe others have chrome devices they would recommend , if you want device with chrome OS on it, so you see your options.
