YMMV but Philips usually has a 20% off code available and in chat they gave me a 30% off due to a glitch with the 20%, so the 4300 was only $630+tax. So you could get the 3200 for as little as $560 if you go that route and can get that coupon

For others with the 3200 Lattego, when they clean the brew-group unit — does their quality of brews seemingly 'reset' to how it was when new (weak, watery, underwhelming) and seemingly requires a handful of brews in series to get back to tasting ok?

Issue with Philips (direct) is coordinating a working promo-code and in-stock availability, at the same time another retailer has a deal (ie. SCG, WLL, Amazon, Best Buy, etc).

I waited, waited, waited to get a 5400 and even 4300 from Philips directly to no avail, where the Amazon PrimeDay summer deal for the 3200 Lattego became a no-brainer.

Also, Philips price is only marked down to $799 currently. The 20% coupon is still out there though.

Good deal for a decent super auto. TBH, I stopped using my superauto (Saeco Granbaristo avanti) after buying the Breville Pro - it takes a bit longer and uses more coffee beans, but the quality of espresso/latte drinks is far superior from semi-auto than superauto.

Issue with Philips (direct) is coordinating a working promo-code and in-stock availability, at the same time another retailer has a deal (ie. SCG, WLL, Amazon, Best Buy, etc).

I waited, waited, waited to get a 5400 and even 4300 from Philips directly to no avail, where the Amazon PrimeDay summer deal for the 3200 Lattego became a no-brainer.
I run a cycle with "pre-ground" selected (but I don't actually add any grounds) to "flush" after group rinse, seems to work fine. I rinse once a week, lube monthly-ish. I did recently get some of the de-oil tablet things too, did that once.

We've probably done 8-10 cycles a day for 8 months now without issue.
