Pros: -Worked flawlessly out of box, and is very well packed (though the box presentation is seriously lacking).
-Installation was a breeze for AM4.
-The waterblock itself is incredibly attractive compared to the latest trends. A serious step ahead in aesthetics.
-RGB lit. Rainbows amiright?
-Great cooling performance compared to most air coolers. Compared to Cryorig H7, it dropped my temps by 10c during a stress test. Ryzen 1700 @ 3.8GHz at 1.35v. Maxes out at 57c in Prime 95. Under most gaming loads it's about 39~42c.
-Quietest pump I've ever used- compared to a Corsair H55. I can't hear it with my ear held close.
-PWM fan passthrough that's controlled through the waterblock itself. Nifty feature if you're using a mobo that lacks in PWM fan pins. This also makes cable management easier and cleaner looking.
Cons: -Stock fan is decent, but there is a discernible difference in fan noise compared to a push/pull config with my Corsair SP120s. Not that it was unbearably loud, but the SP120s made a big difference.
-No AM4 bracket out of the box means some extra wait time if you're using AM4.
-Uses a USB 2.0 connection to control some pump/fan operations + light. I had to disconnect my towers front USB 2.0 ports to gain control over it. (ASUS Crosshair VI mobo)
Overall Review: The stock photo is somewhat misleading, the pump appears to have a glossy/ eggshell white base, but the actual color is much closer to a matte silver. It looks great in black/white builds either way!
