Please don't buy the incandescent, I'm not a tree hugger, but you'll save more more with Leds.

Lowe's is 100% the worst store with pickups.

There won't be any. Lowe's will probably take them off their website soon, and the local stores will discount them further in the next few days (if they have anything left). Once they're below a certain inventory level they'll be written off and disposed of (Home Depot and other retailers do the same thing). The days of shopping for holiday lights a week or two after the 25th are almost completely over.

I placed order for pickup, for stuff that showed in stock at store (in CA, Los Angeles area) and they called me an hour later and said couldn't find any of the lights I ordered. Like they had nothing, so had to cancel order.

Going to instead try shipping and try my luck

Not sure about the larger sets but those 100 light GE strings have some pretty bad reviews. Opted for the Holiday Living LEDS for pick up and we'll see how that goes.

Thank you for your answer. I have a small really nice white flocked tree on my front porch, and noticed last night that the top third was not lit We fooled around with the lights to no avail today and decided that instead of throwing away the whole tree, we would just remove the lights and re string it.

PSA: Make note of their return policy! If you try to return these after the 25th they won't be accepted, and if you somehow manage to buy them after the 25th they can't be returned for any reason (they'll refer you to the manufacturer if they don't work).

Also note this policy is in line with almost all other retailers this time of year.
