Personal anecdote as someone who was diagnosed with gum issues, and was a long-term sensodyne user before switching to this for the last few months.

I used to have a lot of toothaches and the dentist recommended covering it up with Sensodyne. That never really worked, and turns out I had early stage gingivitis, which some mechanical deep cleanings at a periodontist cleared up. The toothaches went away, which led me to conclude it was gum related the whole time. That's when I switched to this tooth paste.

I can't conclude whether this toothpaste has helped improved my condition, but it definitely hasn't gotten worse since stopping my other sensitivity toothpastes. My objective for now, is to "hold the line" from where my periodontist left me, so that's a win.

This Crest foams up nicely, and as a result I notice myself brushing longer because it still feels like it's active, longer. The other brands are more paste-like and don't foam, so they felt diluted and "done" sooner. My personal speculation is that beyond the active fluoride ingredients, there might be something with the foaming agents to help the chemicals penetrate deeper. That special sauce is non-medical in nature, so if it's not listed, it'd be harder to compare this against other brands. Once again, personal speculation and just my personal experiences.

Same active ingredient and percentage as in Crest pro health. These toothpaste companies get away with reselling the same with newer color designs, better buzzwords, and creative ideas. - Colgate too.

I suppose that's true. Skincare is worst, they can claim anything without proving it.

Also there is no verification of ingredients or qty of ingredients. It could be one drop of ingredient per batch and still claimed to have it.

I think it tastes a little better than pro health but less gritty, my teeth feel cleaner with the gel.
As others point out same active ingredients

Almost, but not quite. Detoxify foams, Pro Health does not, which you can either believe or not whether that provides a better cleaning.

True, but it also depends on how you brush, your toothbrush, electric or manual. Generally for me if I am closing my mouth while brushing everything foams no matter what toothpaste I'm using.

This improved my gums considerably. For a while my gums bleed more easily, this seemed to have helped.

I had this same exact question and I contacted Crest and asked about what the difference was if the active ingredients were identical. They basically said that while the ingredients are the same, it's the percentage to each ingredient that is done.
