Ryzen 3 3350U is painfully slow. I have the same laptop 15" and its like a 2018 Celeron.
I have a Ryzen 3 3350u in an Acer and it hums along quite nicely for everyday web tasks and the battery life is pretty good too. What are you doing that you think the performance is slow?

Ryzen 3250U should perform sth. like 8th or 10th Gen Core i3, much better than Celeron
Sufficiently capable for daily office tasks, given this already had 8GB RAM equipped.
Instead, the non-FHD display (1366x768, likely to be a TN) is the weakest link in this machine.

Ryzen 3250u Passmark score is about 4000.
8th gen i3 isn't anything to write home about. The i5 8250u is 40% faster. The 2 core 4 thread really holds it back. Not too long ago there was a 11th gen i3 on here which had more than double the score of 10,000 for around 200.
Imo I would look for a refurbished hp elitebook with a ryzen 3700u. I've seen them sell for 200 before but you gotta search around for them and they perform better than Intel 8th gen i7

Of course, Ryzen 3 3250U is not a powerhorse but just sufficient for daily basic office tasks.
There were quite a number of good deals for a daily laptop during BF sale.
Yes, I bought one brand new ASUS 14" FHD IPS for $199, 11th Gen Core i3-1115G4, though only 2C/4T and 4GB RAM. The memory could be cheaply and easily upgraded.
Obviously, it has much better value for money when comparing with this. (passmark 6200 vs 3900)
