I think I know why some people are not getting it. Paypal/Honey essentially shadow ban accounts from earning rewards. I was shadow banned from honey rewards for reaching out on a Sasmung offer I saw for a Tab S8 ($100 offer) and they essentially ghosted me and now I can't earn any rewards. It happens to a ton of people (check their twitter replies). They also pretend to look into the issue if you contact them then block you on social media. They are pretty shady tbh.

Great deal, thanks! I saved offer in PayPal app, reloaded $10 in starbucks app using PayPal as payment, got 500 PayPal reward points instantly, redeemed for $5 cash in paypal.

Paypal online chat support is horrible. It's like sending an email. You put something in asking for help and you sit there forever. They say you'll get an email when support responds. It must have taken 1.5 hours (no, i was not at my desk all that time) before they said they would offer a $5 voucher but I didn't get any notice they replied. The stupidest part is they ask if I would want the voucher. Ummmm, if II was looking for the points in my account, they shoild have just said, we sent you a credit voucher and be done with it. Overall, these paypal deals may not be worth the effort.

I can understand how unfair terms and conditions can be at times. It does not look like we would be able to issue the $5 at this time I do apologize Due to this being such a popular merchant it looks like all the $5 offers have been claimed. My suggestion would be to look out for our new offers in your email and your deals secetion because they are always updating.

PayPal chat was useless. The first guy said he'd have to forward me to a 2nd guy, who just regurgitated pasted crap about how long it takes for points to show up.

Then when I ask him to confirm the points are coming he said I'd have to send in an email.

What did I just spend 45-60 min with chat for then? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

4 days after purchase, still didn't receive the points. Contact paypal via chat, was offered a $10 voucher.

How long before the redeemed 500 points show up as $5.00 PP credit balance?


P.S. The answer is it takes one hour to receive the credit.

The rep is no help. They just gave a BS response. I purchased on 12/23. People made purchase after me got the $5 applied automatically.

Someone else said they got Starbucks to reverse the charge .. I might try that. PayPal doesn't deserve the business if they won't honor their deals.
