NVMe drives are SSDs....
If you meant SATA SSD vs NVMe SSD, then it is up to you. I'd rather buy NVMe than SATA drives. NVMe is much faster and easier to resell in a few yrs.

I spent $75 for a 1TB 2.5" SSD last year. Just replaced it with a 1tb gen3 nvme drive this BF for $40.

I've read that teamgroup's warranty is garbage and reliability is not the best. Anyone have experience there? Western Digital seems to be the best.

Is it just me or are the SSD's better than the nvme drives? Most times you have to ensure you have compatibility to the motherboard or you have to purchase a daughterboard to get an NVME to work. Further, you can easily add 4 SSD drives on a RAID whereas, on most motherboards, you only get 2 NVME's. Which begs the bigger question, if you have to have expansion boards, or use a PCIE3.0 board to house the other NVME's wouldn't the SSD's be cheaper and easier to use?

NVMe drives are SSDs....

Gaming Laptop that has 2 x NVMe slots are the absolute number 1 candidate for this; Use a top Tier 500-1000GB drive for the C:, and this 4TB Teamgroup to slap all your game installs onto.

Some of us just don't have a 2.5" slot anymore, and this is so, so, so tempting.
