I don't know what tools you're talking about, but the screwdrivers in this deal are made in Germany. It's printed right on the handles.

Yeah and the fact they are sold at Lowe's makes that all the more true. So many brands get pressured to make cheaper products for Lowe's and HD.

Wiha of 10 years ago was the best money could buy, right up there with Knipex. Fast forward to current times and it's an overpriced mediocre product manufactured in Vietnam. I just sent back some insulated electrical tools because the steel is soft like butter. The Knipex are leaps and bounds worth the cost.

I have some of these that I bought 10 years ago and they are still holding up great. I used them for a couple years as an auto tech when I bought them so they got some abuse.

Don't buy their pliers, just the drivers. Been like that for a long time.

These are a good price if they are actually made in Germany. They do say they are so they should be.

I'd personally go for the Wera Kraftform Plus Screwdriver Set for $30 on Amazon though. It has a screwdriver rack and laser tips to prevent cam out.

The wiha does have larger slotted sizes though if it matters to you.

I don't think anyone would regret the Wiha screwdrivers. $20 is great considering the other screwdrivers you could end up buying at Lowes.
