I was like that at first. Then I got one as a gift and it changed everything. I am able to clean up kitty litter and dirt from my dog effortlessly in the evening after work. It's light and mighty all at once. I found this deal for my parents. They are getting older. Their full size Dyson is just too heavy and hard for them to maneuver. This is worth its price for our family. Hopefully some other people can enjoy this sale.

I've always wanted to get a Dyson but that price has always deterred me. Even at this price.

Did you do it in store or over the phone? I am hoping to do the same thing! Purchased online originally.

I have one of the first renditions of this machine the animal. Over time you need to replace the battery so many times you wind up paying double for the vacuum.

I risked buying a battery from eBay, even knowing it may damage the unit I have, a v8 when the battery died on it.. I wanna say for $30 from eBay giving me about 15 MORE mins of run time.. my experience it over heats sometimes and a sensor shuts the unit down for 1-2 mins.. but that cheap battery been going strong for 3 years now. I've owned this vacuum for 7 years, still strong as day 1 and use it DAILY. For the kitchen and floors around.

I bought one at Bed Bath and Beyond, used it for 2 years daily to clean the airbnb I was running and the battery went out. I took it to the store and since they didnt have the model in stock anymore, they refunded my money form the old receipt. I really beat that Dyson up. BB & B does refunds years later.

Replace the battery with a battery adapter for like Dewalt batteries. Won't have to worry about batteries for a while.

Generic batteries are way cheaper on Amazon. I bought one for my aging v6.

Honestly after much research the V10 is the sweet spot.
