Wow. I got in on the GameStop Garmin Instinct deal for $70 two months; now I wished I had waited. This is definitely worth the $60 upgrade. Better sensors, more options, and Oxygen reader. The solar is a gimmick, it doesn't add that much value on this model.
Seller is reputable too.
I'd argue that this is best deal on an introductory Garmin watch going on right now. Only downside if color, which isn't for everyone.

I disagree with "solar is a gimmick on this watch". There is value to those who are outdoors a lot. I'd argue that it's more of a gimmick on the Fenix, where it's just a thin ring of solar.
I agree with the rest, a great watch for those who like the outdoors and are focused more on fitness tracking, navigation and sensors rather than the "smart watch" functions - calls, messages, etc.

So it doesn't do the "smart watch" stuff like text and phone notifications?
I am wearing this exact watch right now, I bought I "new" without tags on ebay for $200 about a month ago and it is worth every penny. Battery last about 30 days when not running GPS. If running a lot it will of course drop a lot (I think about half as long). Has a lot of features especially for the price and charges really fast with USB if you need to recharge it. I wear mine pretty much 24/7 just occasionally take it off while watching TV to recharge when it gets to 2 to 3 days remaining. Sure it can't take calls but to me that is dumb... I had a watch with a sim card in the past and it wouldn't keep a charge past 24 hours and I never used the call feature anyway... If I am on a run I am not going to answer the phone anyways and if not running then I would have my phone to answer calls 🤷

It does, the basic stuff. Notifications. But it's not a touch screen, can't take calls, etc.
What I meant was that it's got more value as a fitness tracker, gps, outdoor navigation + basic notifications.

Awesome, thanks. Do you know if it has the Golf app? Looking online, it looks like the version 2 does, so assuming this one doesn't
