This actually does save a bunch with pickup or DashPass. The math is tedious, but if you have this gift card, your local joint has a 15% markup, and you order with a 20% coupon, you save about 27% over a direct order.

If a restaurant has less than a 25% markup on DoorDash, this gift card is better than a direct order and turns DoorDash coupons into actual savings rather than markup offsets.

Unlike a direct order, this also qualifies for a number of cashback offers. I believe that Chase has 10% cash back on Best Buy.

I've also found this card isn't treated as a gift card by most cashback sites. YMMV on this part though.

Buyer beware, lots of Doordash locations have increased menu prices even with pickup. This is a good deal for those that have the same pricing as in store.

Tbh i am hating doordash when they stopped sending any promotions once i added my gift card. I wish there is like five $20 gift cards so i can load them individually and get promos too

I assure you, you'll spend more than the savings by ordering from DoorDash in the first place.

It's a good deal for those that already use the service, but a terrible one for thrifty folks.

Hey friend try Apple Pay if you have an iPhone. My order also failed using the normal checkout but worked with Apple Pay (same card stored on Apple Pay too).

I received the email confirmation. No code yet, but Best Buy tends to take a little bit for digital gift cards.

PSA: If you order for pickup using Doordash, they take a rather large amount of money from how much the restaurant makes. I've had small business restaurants kindly request if I could just call and order over the phone OR on their website as they'd really appreciate it.

If you guys care about small business and supporting the local community, I'd highly suggest you don't use doordash for pickups

Most cb sites won't give the cb if the order has a gift card, I've tried on aa shopping and rak, but I assume same for chase that you won't get 10x points on this

I mean this is a good deal if you use DoorDash. A price increase of a dollar or two could still be worth it for the convenience

For those with chase cards that get dashpass/statement credit, note that door dash does not let you pay with your credit card until the "credit" from your gift cards is all used up, so don't be like me and waste 50$ of statement credit and make sure you can use this up in 2 months if you get this.
