I ran into a deal years ago on a 2 pack of the 8" scissors. I bought 8 pairs. They are all either broken, or the plastic is cracked waiting to snap at any minute.
They don't fiberglass reinforce the plastic because this would cause more deterioration to the molds, so rather than investing in more molds for a quality product, they sell these to customers foolish enough to buy them.
If you want plastic scissors, look to Fiskars who adequately reinforces the plastic and gives a warranty, or go with a steel scissor like the Klein Heritage and it will last longer than your children will.

These are medium duty scissors so don't expect to be cutting bone with these. They're also not stainless steel and might rust if left wet. (Haven't tried that). Otherwise, looking forward to another 4 years of service.

Gotta get rid of the body somehow.
Not sure if there is a difference or not.
