Used to want Eufy, now I will not touch them at all. Rare to see a company destroy their reputation so quickly.
you pay for 4K camera and local recording only 1080p, no where in the box it says that, all it says is 4K in big letters. I returned mine after i realized that from the recording.

This is not true, you can absolutely record locally in 4k. Many people are, with and without a paid plan also. Below is a link with info on the specific settings to check if you're not recording 4k locally.

Saw a few forum threads where people had issues and solved them with a setting or two they found they had wrong.

I had to contact them numerous times and then I received the email for the code. Took awhile.

Had to contact them, ask them to resend the code and still never got it. They have to "check with next level team"

Same just now...ugghhh..seriously..if we can't even get help for this..imagine if we actually need support for their devices..the person told me to logout and then log back in to email and check since he said he re-sent twice..then had some nerve to say if he doesn't hear back from me in 3 minutes he'll close out the chat..I told him I wasn't responding because I was going through the motions of what he suggested...yet still no code in inbox or spam..ridiculous that I am able to receive emails from them yet still can't receive the supposed email with the code...he said he needed to escalate to next level..like you said..24-48 hours to respond...I SO regret this impulse buy.

I recently returned my Arlo doorbell because they don't allow ANY event playback (not even 10 seconds) unless you sign up for their expensive service !!!
And obviously, Arlo doorbell doesn't support either MicroSD storage or even your local IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.x) recording so it's pretty much like either pay them $4/month for "basic" services or throw it in trash ! Luckily I had bought it from Costco so returned it after 1 year and got my $100 back refund, and will NEVER buy anything from Arlo again.
