You know blue is a color…not a gender right…?? They're blue heelers? She's blue…so Bluey..? It's a perfect name. Also Blue from Blue's Clues is a girl. So it's not like she's the only cartoon blue dog that's a girl.
You should watch it with them. It's a great show that parents can also appreciate. I like it a lot.
I love watching bluey with my kids. It's really relatable and parents can get a good laugh. When I watched Ep1 s1 and bluey said "there's a lady in the shower" I almost fell over laughing. It's easy to reference bluey episodes when kids run into life's problems and kids can relate to how bluey felt and handled the situation
Simultaneously a great show and an impossible standard to live up to in terms of parenting. Bandit and Chili set too high of a bar for the rest of us.
Yeah but I think it also shows the reality of parents' lives too though (always tidying up or doing laundry lol) and that we do disappoint our kids or sometimes we're just doing what works to save our sanity. But that episode where Bluey learning how to walk hit me real good.. A lot of episodes are targeted towards parents as well.

For real though. Grandad, Camping, Sleepytime. Just to list a few that have choked me up a bit.
Such a great show! Especially when they are first watching it and don't remember specific episodes. Once they find some favorites, it's over. Non stop Verandah Santa over here lately lol.

Just watched sleepytime tonight with my 15 month old, who, I kid you not, broke into applause at the end of that episode. Blew my mind.
