FYI, this is the sale price literally every other month.

Costco swaps $150 off sales each month between Michelin and Bridgestone.

Inflation is insane. Got my last set at Costco in 2018 and it costs $300 more now for the same model.

I'm looking at Costco, and a set of firestone tires is ~$550 and Michelin about ~$670. Specs seem the same, Firestone is a new tire that I can't find reviews on but worth spending $120 more got Michelin?

Which tire do you all recommend for a midsize suv (toyota highlander)?

What type of tire are you looking into? Sporty summer tires? All seasons that are sporty? Or just plain all seasons with long road life? I'd definitely search Youtube for any reviews. My Michelin All Season 4's have great grip and are good in all seasons for my hot hatch.

All season, but the tire size I have usually means its also a sport tire even though I have basic car that they put huge rims with low profile tires on from the factory. The lower trim models have smaller rims and tires are almost half the price. I've debated buying the lower model rims to get cheaper tires but buying the factory rims eats up any savings and steel rims look a little too budget for me.

It does snow where I am but not enough where I would buy snow tires. I've bought them before and it was nice but I can wait a couple hours to go anywhere the roads always get plowed by then. So ok snow performance is fine for me.

The firestone tire is FIREHAWK AS V2 and the Michelin is Pilot Sport All Season 4. The michelin seems to be pretty good, but is it worth $120 more than the firestone? No idea as I can't find any reviews as its the newest version that just came out in september from what I can find.

I have been waiting for this since the Black Friday deal that I had missed due to traveling.

Costco said they would gladly work on my Tesla where Sam's Club and BJ's refused.
I told them I would bring the jack pads but they said it simply didn't work that way.
They just don't wanna work by trying to find whatever the reasons.
Got a quote for similar tires from the Discount, but their installation charge was higher and didn't include tire protection nor rotation.

Costco, by far, seems to be the best option since rotation, nitrogen, protection are all inclusive with cheaper installation fees as long as you are ok with paying extra $50~75+/tire for name brands and warranty.

Can anyone let me know the price for this? Item # 1549200
Not sure if anyone replied to you. Maybe double check the item number? When I tried searching in my Costco app just now, and nothing comes up.

My Discount Tire beat the Costco price out the door. The rep was very easy to work with, so I'd guess YMMV.
I'm curious how Discount Tire priced matched the "$150 Instantly Off ($70 Manufacturer's Savings + $80 Additional Costco Members Savings)" portion. Did they just take $150 off their total price?

Yes, they just discounted the price by $150+ in order to "beat" Costco's price. I probably said something like Costco has these tires installed at $, and they were eager to get my business and had the tires in stock and at the store, which was not the case at Costco. It was a very smooth and uncomplicated sale and installation of the tires.

My 4th car will have the tires installed at Costco on Friday. Hopefully, this will also be a smooth transaction.

Great, thank you. How were you able to get the Costco price if doesn't show up online for out of stock tire sizes (I logged on and my particular Michelin model/size is temporarily out of stock). Also do you know what the Costco installation price is? I know for Discount Tire, it's $26/tire.

The tires that I ordered were currently out of stock at my store, with an expected delivery of Jan 11, via online ordering. I called my local store and was advised to come into the store and pay in order to have the tire order fulfilled locally, with a faster fulfillment time of one to two days.

My Costco has an installation price of $19.99 per tire, with an additional TPMS service fee of $2.99 per tire.

I probably would have gone back to Discount Tire with this car, but the car is headed back to a city in Montana that has a Costco, but does not have a Discount Tire. Have to plan for the future tire rotations for warranty purposes…
