Best giveaway so far from Epic! I knew they would save the best ones later.
This is the Director's Edition, which is much better than the regular version available on the Xbox Game Pass. I'm glad I waited until now to play this game as I didn't want to play the original version.

Looks like they pulled the director's cut. This is a huge downgrade. Oh well. I'll just back to my XGP backlog. Already have the regular version on XGP. Congratulations on everyone who got the director's cut version.

From a reddit thread about DC vs Original: "They did not change any of the core gameplay from the original. They added in new tools, which you can ignore. But fundamentally it is the same game with some bonus stuff at a higher resolution and solid frame rate."

I feel like the kind of people who are getting this for free aren't really going to care about DC vs. Original and are going to be super happy to play either.

Pretty sure they intended to give the standard edition so that they can upsell for $6 but put the full version by mistake. Those who got in first were lucky...
