How long does this stuff stay good once opened? I use it once every couple years and so have a bottle but I don't know if it's still good.

Personally for $2 I would get a new bottle and toss the old stuff so you know it's going to work properly.

Depends on the environment, but generally you want to use it within 12 months of opening and 24 months of manufacture. It either dries out or starts separating.

It will last a year or two so long as you take some tape and put it over the opening then put the cap on. It will get watery and breakdown when it's no longer good which happens somewhere before 5 years

I've actually bought fake loctite from Amazon so make sure to double-check and make sure that everyone's legit. I wasn't even aware of it until Amazon reimbursed me the $8 for the bottle that I had purchased.
