I highly doubt a sprayer that's the price of a tip is going to be all that even. I'd rent something like a graco or an hvlp if your doing cabinets before I tried this. Stick with a pro brand with recommended tip.

Agree... I have a decent older airless, which is great except for the big, big job of cleaning it afterwards, so thought I'd buy a cheap Harbor Fright version of the above. After wasting hours trying to get it to spray decently, just threw it in the trash.

Depends on your expectations. If u want to do a high quality job and only once, get a better sprayer or rent one (graco or equivalent). If u just want to slap paint on something and don't care get this.

If you are spraying a few things here and there, these work fine. It is all about the consistency of the paint the Wagner and similar work great for doors, trim, a small room, and other odd jobs. I'd avoid a whole house or something major. They are not efficient or good at adjustments. Watch some YouTube videos on how to set up and you will be fine.

Just wanted to add this info if anyone is considering using these for water based paints. Due to the motor being small and right on the head, they run at high rpm. So the air generated is warm. This will cause latex or any water based paint to dry out quickly. You can end up with orange peel effect on the painted surface. Something to keep in mind

I wouldn't even bother with these electrical ones. Just spend a little bit on a pancake compressor and get a pneumatic HPLV spray gun, preferably the gravity fed ones. Extremely smooth and even spray. The electric ones need constant cleaning, shoot out huge blobs of paint and constantly jam.
