I am surprised so many people seem to like HF this year. Last year's thread had several people that warned about the quality of their meat and cheese. I wish I would have listened. It is not good. If you want to buy some anyway there will likely be better sales coming if last year is any indication.

I've still gotten the same quality this whole time, only ones that don't hold up are the real skinny summer sausage sticks, but they've also always been that way so I just skip them

Go to Big Lots. I went last night and all their sets are. They have different names in store but essentially the same stuff. I paid $5 for one and $10 for a larger set.

Buyer beware. If you can buy these sausages and cheeses physically in a store where you can check the date, then you're better off. When this stuff expires, it isn't edible.

Bought the Hearty Bites Gift Box "6-pack" for $74.99. https://www.hickoryfarms.com/prod...product-qa

The hearty bite Gift box is on sale for $19.99 is down from (supposedly) $42.99 normal price. So supposedly the normal price is $257.94 for the 6-pack and at $74.99 that's a savings of $183! The Hearty Bites "6-pack" then is another $45 cheaper than if you bought six individual Hearty Bites boxes $19.99 "on sale"! This 6-pack is a heck of a good price. Free Shipping is just icing on the cake!

Anyways, here's what's in each of the Hearty Bites box:
5 oz Signature Beef Summer Sausage
5 oz Spicy Beef Summer Sausage
5 oz Sweet & Smoky Turkey Summer Sausage
4 oz Farmhouse Cheddar

I got mine today . I was skeptical while ordering reading some of these reviews of the quality, I never had this brand before. I tried a little spicy summer sausage, turkey summer sausage and jalapeño cheese . This stuff is banging! I'll probably make another order soon.
