all of them are basically the same ...
If you don't need dual fuel then you can usually get largest output for the same price ...
The issue pplo have is that they get it and don't do anything with it until they need it --- the moment you get it - fill it up -- and run it for many hours to make sure that it runs ...
The little starter battery will go dead after about a month ... make sure you have a way of jumping the 12V battery to start it ...
They will start in -20 as long as the fuel is not frozen ... we normally use the gel stuff to keep it fluid ....
If at all possible try to use ETHANOL FREE fuel -- the tubing on these are so small that honestly after about 18 months the damn ethanol has ate through the tubing from the gas tank to the carburetor ...
AGIN - DONT WAIT TO YOU NEED IT TO FIRE IT UP
After the first 10 hours -- change the oil and put synthetic in it ....
First 10 hours no one cares what oil you put in it since its still breaking in .... you want to drain it after 10 hours because there is going to be metal shavings in there -- trust me -- been there -- done that dozens of times ...
DuroMax and Durostar customer service is OK - but out of India ... they always want you to send 10000 pictures of what the issue is -- BUT they will send you the replacement part ...
WESTINGHOUSE is sortof the same but you get an english speaker each time in the states ... but their CS hours are limited ...
WOULD I purchase this at this price -- in a heart beat ....

Not sure what the other difference are though. Overall, Amazon appears to have a number of deals going on the DuroMax generators - check the page for options
Can anyone share their experience if it's different?
edit:
sorry the bad customer service reviews were from DuroMax.

They are the same company in Ontario California
You probably weren't getting max wattage becuase of using propane. Try gas next time to see if you can power the upstairs also.

It only needs to be grounded if it did something really bad
What size propane tank did you use? How did you refill supply over 3 days?
Don't send it to it's room
On the next level, it may boil down to how you connect it to the load. If you have a generator connection to your regular wiring through switching panel, chances are you will be grounded through regular house grounding anyway. Have to look at how you generator and house are wired to be certain.
