It's a TV/monitor. If you have a Samsung TV near by, you will accidentally turn it on with your TV remote. It also answers to some keywords like Google or something that will also be turned on by accident. It's competent as a work monitor.

I could live without this monitor but let me go check my bank account on how much taxes I saved and cry to my sleep instead 🤡 /s
I bought a 50 inch 4k QLED Hisense Fire hdtv on last Prime Day for 149 dollars and also bought 43 inch 4k TCL Roku hdtv for 129 dollars at target early black friday sale, and how would this compare to this 190 dollar 31.5 VA smart monitor.
I use my 4k tv's as computer monitors and they seem great to me. If some of you guys put the 50 inch QLED Fire hdtv or the 43 TCL Roku hdtv next to this monitor, is this 31.5 inch Samsung better looking?

Is it just me, or since Nobody in their right mind uses the Homepod, and Amazon loosing vast amounts of money and reducing their staff working on Alexa, are we all going to be stuck with Google Assistant fairly soon?

You would be right if I keep the 43 inch 4k hdtv or the 50 inch 4k QLED or 65 inch 4k hdtvs at 100 percent in windows 11.
My windows 11 PC's auto set it to 300 percent and also has setting to increase or decrease the FONT! So everything looks fantastic and I adjust it so it looks great!
But if I keep the 43 or 50 inch hdtv's at 100 percent setting , then it would cause eyestrain (like you suggest). I have been using 43 and 50 inch and 65 inch hdtv as PC monitor for years, and they work great for me.
I did buy some 24 inch monitors the last month in 1080p for 60 dollars a piece, and they look great too, but they are maybe 18 inch from my eyes and it looks great too. And my 17 inch chromebooks at 1080p look good to me at about 12inch to 18 inchs away. All my screens are IPS!
I mostly just surf the web and watch movies/tv shows on my hdtv's and game on them.
