I have a $3 charging dock from an old deal that needs controllers to be kept inverted and uses an adapter for the USB-C ports. It is kinda irritating, so I ordered the HyperX dock when it was on a $20 sale a couple of weeks ago. Luckily it hadn't shipped yet, so I cancelled it in favor of this deal. The HyperX looks slightly better and is weighted. And I kinda liked that it didn't have a light of its own. But at $5 vs $20, it made no sense to get that one. End of the day, I'm sure both will do the job. Might as well save $15.

I have that same one from a deal a while back. Looks like it's going to get retired in favor of this one.
Thanks OP!

There are contacts on the underside of the controller. I'm assuming that's what'll do the trick.

Here's hoping it's better than the third party ps4 chargers that kept failing…
