SN770 is currently $80, without a heatsink. Nextorage NEM-PA is $89 with a $5 Newegg gift card. It's cheaper than the Hynix drives right now, but there are some good drives out there for a bit less. You are also bumping into the same price of 2TB "good enough" drives.

You want this one for PS5 storage.

Anyone having problems with the WD website? When I go to the SN850x product page it doesn't display correctly. Have tried a few different browsers.

Would this be a good OS drive for a Ryzen 5800x3d? My current drive is a SABRENT 512GB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance. I haven't installed my cpu yet. Think it would be worth it to upgrade to this ssd for gaming?

I can't say weather this WD drive will be better, but can say I've used the Sabrent Rocket drives in a couple gaming builds - they are smoking fast.

This WD deal seems a bit pricy given the capacity.
