Antonline via ebay return policy: 30 day returns, seller pays for return shipping
Excellent price for a laptop that's as powerful as it gets and has best cooling system in the Gaming laptops. This is just $80 more than the last years $1399 but this $80 gives 512GB additional storage and newer and better GPU and a better CPU.
The problem is, they always sell it cheaper on eBay than their own website so people can't use cash back sites or discount codes to get it even cheaper. If this was the same price on Lenovo's site, I'd buy it.
The seller on eBay isn't Official Lenovo but antonline.

Picked up the HP Omen from Microcenter and the trackpad gets blazing hot when playing games. HP had no real solution other than buying a cooling pad. It was clocking in at 95 Deg F, crazy hot. Looking at this Lenovo with core i9 and 3070 all packed into a laptop, wondering if this will also get crazy hot. Microcenter said I have until Jan 15th to return it. Other than they heat issue, its a really nice laptop. Can any Lenovo owners please chime in and let me know if you have any crazy heat issues with your laptop. Thanks,

Yeah those new 12/13 core Intel laptops get really hot. With great power comes great friability! Haha

Wish Costco would carry this... I just hate dealing with ebay returns and other issues. Still so tempted as this is EXACTLY what im looking for... Just so so turned off by having to use ebay

Lenovo website has it for $1566, I made a post about it, combined with all the Cashback possible it's a better deal than this
The Cashback site only 6% now, it was at 10% 2 days ago, sorry (A different site that starts with B has 8% )
And my PayPal payment posted 3 days after the order, so it would be cutting it close to get that 5% chase freedom cashback so better order it today if you want that
But Lenovo has slow shipping speeds, mine still hasn't shipped and I ordered 12/20, hope it won't be a March shipment like I heard other people saying

I have a 2021 model Legion 5i with an i7 and 3070. So I assume the placement of parts are the same.
Mine only really gets hot near the upper part of the keyboard. As in the F4 to F10 and disk about 2 key rows.
I use a external mouse but from halfway (maybe where the G key is) of the keyboard down its not as hot and the mouse pad definitely isn't hot.
I do use a cooling pad and it does help but only so much. I mean, this is a 140+W GPU in a tight, enclosed laptop. So it's going to get hot. That's really with any gaming laptop.
decided to grab a Lenovo Legion Slim 7i with the 12700H and 3060. pretty blazing fast and open box put it at 1289. feels like a solid choice but this one is compelling. I wonder how the battery life compares.
