For my devices yes. For my kids 10000 items they use a few times and then they lose them or do not use them no. It's so much easier to just put these batteries in and they last the lifetime of their interest in the toy.

The 150-pack of Amazon Basics industrial AA batteries is also eligible for the coupon. It ends up being about $20 with tax included.

I got the discount on the AAs, but it was unavailable when I went back to the AAAs. Seems to be a single use offer. Might want to get everything you need at once.

I need batteries for this stupid Xbox controller. I really can't believe they sell the system and controller without some kind of rechargeable battery included, but they do. They sell the battery pack and charging cable separately for $25 MSRP, but that's ridiculous.

The 40% coupon can be used on a wide variety of different items, but it can only be used once (as in one item, not one order of multiple items).

Don't buy single use batteries. Get some rechargeable ones that are good for 500 cycles.
Rechargeables are great but only 1.2V. There are some devices that really need 1.5V to operate correctly. I find non rechargeables are also better for slow drain devices like clocks and remotes.

Another post that requires you to subscribe in order to receive the discount of 40%. I hope this is not the way of discounts moving into the future with Amazon.
I recently discovered if you order to a Amazon locker instead of home after you order you get a email subscribe and save error. You still get subscribe and save price how ever you can't s/s to a locker and it pretty much voids the s/s unless you decide to fix it.

Same. People should know that sometimes Amazon batteries have a tendency to leak, so you need to keep an eye on them. They ruined a clock that I used to have.

Well stated. Many LED flashlights suffer performance wise and some won't even work with rechargeable. I know Maglite warns against using them in their flashlights. I use the 6 D-Cell for my line of work and have been researching battery alternatives and finally pulled the plug and bought a set of 6 from an online company called Pale Blue. Just received them yesterday so I cannot comment yet until I experience some usage. They are only 5000 mAH and I believe standard alkalines D size are above that but they are supposed to be able to charge more than 1000x and most importantly is they are 1.5 volts!
