I believe those are roof prism, very different product.

Would these be any good for star gazing while out camping? Thinking about getting Nikon Monarch M5 8x42, but don't know which one to get. I'll rarely use them, if that makes a difference.

Edit: Also considering the National Geographic 10 x 42 Waterproof Binoculars https://www.samsclub.com/p/nation...kdeals+LLC

I dont honestly know about National Geographic binocular but do some research on Vortex warranty (they are truly legendary). No matter who's at fault, they pretty much cover everything and you buy a Vortex only once!
