My store is still 29.97 which is annoyingly misleading because it was on sale often for 29.99

I see Costco doing that sometimes but rarely. Very misleading I agree. You think you're getting a deal. I always google the item number when I see that to check for the original price

I grabbed 2 of these for "car carry" use @ $30 each. Paired with a Duracell 500L adjustable light @ $20/3, no regrets.

It's 29.97 at my store too!

Still not a bad price for a leatherman, though. Same tool is selling second hand for $50 on eBay.

Typically items ending in 7 like this means Costco is discontinuing to sell the item for whatever reason.

If you are talking about the Ozark Trail which is approx $40 and looks a lot like the Wave. ...then no.

I ran across these in my Costco. And I am glad that I did. Had I ordered this online, I would have felt ripped off. The metal walls in the handles were so thin that it felt like a cheap Chinese knockoff. Yeah, it is a Leatherman.....and I know they stand behind their products. But at some point, I want a tool that feels sturdy enough that needing to use the Warranty does not feel like a given.

Maybe looks are deceiving and this will stand up to all kinds of abuse...but that is not the impression that I got. I decided the Gerber that Home Depot had was just a better fit for me.

Yes, and they typically bring down the price more than 2 cents. However in this case, the reduction of price appears to be a bit wonky.

I had bought 3 of these and they are in each car now. They are good in car backups. Not sure that $22 is nationwide.

No. I had my wingman stolen in my checked bag because of the thieves at tsa.
Repurchased the bolster and returned it back for the wingman
Bolster is missing scissors and a package opener. It feels unbalanced and cheaper
Bah just read you wrote Walmart - unsure

The first picture in the original post of this thread is not the actual tool for sale. The one Costco is selling does not have scissors. The one in the first picture looks like it's the Free series which run $120+. The other pictures appear accurate.
