It's a matter of what you prioritize.

The cheap gaming laptops never have 400 nit 100% sRBG screens.

The cheap gaming laptops usually don't have USB-C with power delivery.

Cheap gaming laptops are often louder.

Cheap gaming laptops have lower build quality.

Gaming laptops don't come with Windows Pro.

Gaming laptops in general have worse battery life.

Gaming laptops will weigh 5-6 lbs rather than 3.8.

So if you don't play games, and want something lighter, with longer battery life, more features, and superior screen, then this makes sense.

Otherwise you can give up all of the above in exchange for an RTX 3050.

Not everyone plays games. 🤷🏻

Option #2 is the real deal here. 680graphics, 16in, full keyboard, 32GB(replaceable!!), 1TB, backlit kb, 400nits. Wish it was H processor but this beats the BF deal.

They have similar pricing on the 14-inch (845 G9). Just search for EliteBook 845 on the EPP store, and sort by price.

What if you add to cart, then start checking out. (Get all the way to the screen that asks for your payment info and has a "review order" button.)

I had to re-login before that step and then the price changed.

Does the price change if you do that?

For me, build quality is top tier with Elitebooks, upgradeability. If you find a business class laptop from competitors at this price point, please let us know!

Ryzen 6000 is mobile only. Same CPU performance as Zen 3 (Ryzen 5000 mobile), just with a better IGP.

MSRP of this is a joke, even at $650 there are better options.
