I had a chat session with OD customer support and they were able to "add" the coupon code after the order. But, I was thinking that it would show up as a discount during original order, but apparently it is just added as a line item on your order and you will (or should) get an email sometime in the future with a link to a "virtual" gift card. At least that's how the customer service person explained it.
