The book is about being resilient. Something that has been lost over the last 30 years. So book explains resilient concept as though a new discovery. Important though, so good book.

Fwiw, this is from the author of Black Swan, which was really interesting. And Natalie Portman was amazing in the movie version, but it was almost nothing like the book. Sorry to be a snob.

Agreed.

The premise of each of his books can be explained on a post it note. The examples can be briefed using one page. The rest is just his writing style, which occasionally drifts into obnoxious but is more often relatable.

I believe antifragile is the sequel to unbreakable with Samuel L Jackson. And skin in the game is a Saw series spinoff.

Found this for 1/2 the price, says it's for those strapped for time. What I found interesting was the spelling on the cover.

I should have read some from the book before buying.

I couldn't "get into" the book. Put it down after chapter 1. Sitting gathering dust. Sigh.

Interesting book, it's similar to those Malcolm Gladwell-MIchael Lewis-type books. He picks apart a few notable events/anecdotes and uses them to try and prove a point.

I love NNT's books, even the harder core incerto ("fat tails") but you gotta get past his personality. He's getting worse as he gets older. The books are great though.
