AMD should do the following:

6900/6950 $499.99/$549.99
7900XT/7900XTX $649.99/$799.99
*7950XT/7950XTX $999/$1299.99 (match 4090 in almost everything)

*should release this within 6 months

Got my 6800xt for 630 with taxes. If things don't change much in pricing in next 2-3 weeks for budget less than 1K, i will just stick to 6800xt for this year.

For those of us who are actually in the market for an AMD 7000 series GPU, you know that even though the XTX is a better value for dollar, it's currently impossible to find at retail, making the XT a better value for today until the XTX supply settles.

"Blow this card away" I wouldn't get too carried away. I'am waiting for the 4070 myself. With DLSS, it will probably be a better value than this card.

I know it's confusing why the Radeon cards get named best value so often with that mindset. DLSS is losing steam with how much faster FSR is being adopted; AMD made it open source so it works on every GPU. That's whyt DLSS is slowly losing its significance much like so many previous closed source offerings Nvidia pushes. Ray tracing still doesn't have the support people think it does. Every poll has the overwhelming majority of people voting between that they like it but aren't willing to sacrifice so much performance or willing to give up only a little FPS. Every card struggles with it. They need to fix the technology or consumers should expect to continue to wait a couple more card generations for something below high end only being able to properly support it with decent fps..

But to end it, these cards, all of them, are too freaking expensive compared to what they were just a couple years ago. But some people have shown they'll continue to blindly fork over the cash no matter the price and these companies notice that too.
