I would never buy anything direct from SS. Their customer service is terrible. They'll run you in circles a bunch of times before finally offering an RMA, even if an RMA won't fix the issue.
Disagree from my experience. I have prior gen Arctis pro and one ear stopped working after a year or so. 3 year warranty and they had a very reasonable replacement process including disabling the unit (physically break headset apart and taking pictures including serial etc). It was involved but I understand the steps to avoid fraud etc and there was no return or cross shipping necessary. I even ended up with an extra transmitter set of wires, extra ear foam etc. I love my arctis wireless pro and use for both work and gaming and occasional tv.
Best pair of headphones I've owned for my use cases. Dual inputs to connect to my PC for gaming and macOS dock for work is a game changer. On top of that, Bluetooth lets me connect to my phone and steam deck.
How much if a difference does something like this truly make in the world of gaming? Are there really any advantages and if so in what ways? Or is it just purely better quality sound? Is there anything in the gaming world that makes this worth such a high price? Just curious if someone has experience from both sides
I've had the wired version of these. The sound quality is really good, but unfortunately, the accompanying software isn't so great to work with. I think people would benefit more from Sennheiser or Audeze at a similar price.
I find most of these higher end headset just a little too small. Wish the headbands clicked out 1 or 2 notches further. I have a SteelSeries Wireless Pro and am ASTRO A40
Keep getting conflicting information on these. Some videos/reviews say if you get the XBox version you can use them with XBox, PS5 AND PC while the PC/PS version obv don't work with XBox.
Can anyone confirm? It would be nice to have one headset that works with both systems for the family room and move my older Arctis 6 set up to the bedroom.
Recently purchased these for full price. Seamlessly works with work laptop, gaming PC and Bluetooth and the swappable batteries are a nice touch. As far as the gaming sound quality, the SS software is easy to use and configure to your audio needs. I definitely do not regret this purchase.
I have a different hot take on these. I don't use these for "gaming". I use these to listen to music and chat on discord on PC without having wires. Having the option to use with XBOX/PS5 is a bonus to me.
Mostly I wanted a wireless headset that wasn't bluetooth. Bluetooth was never meant for music nor low latency applications.
Next you're going to tell me to buy an "audiophile" headset that uses bluetooth... LOL

I can confirm the Xbox version works with PS5 and Xbox. On the DAC there are 2 usb-c inputs, one that says Xbox the other is for PC/PS4/5.
Also, I purchased the wicked cushions cooling gel pads to replace the stock pads and that is a gamechanger! No more ANC bump pain anymore! They are so comfortable with this add-on.

Thanks for this response. I have 2 other sets the Arctis 7P+ which was an upgrade from my Arctis Pro Wireless. The Pro had Bluetooth built in which I used to use for phone calls and discord chat and suprisingly the 7p+ did not which sucks because that feature would have been great. I use the Pro for the PC now and 7P+ on PS5 but I was looking for a better solution for all 3 consoles etc.

I'm not a pro gamer, but I can't justify spending that much... I'm 3/4 on the way to another gaming system

Literally, bought their highest end headset a few years ago and it wouldn't work out of the box. Never even got a fix and just ended up giving up. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with
