This is a pretty good price for the amount of ram and ssd. as well as 4c/8thread performance. It also has two TB ports.

Sad that it has no ram slots. If you want two ram slots for your 2in1, check out the 5300 or 5310 on ebay for not much more or even same price for the 5300 2in1.

For most people tho, the 16Gb ram is plenty. Even with the older processor, I see this as a no-brainer considering the price IF you want a compact 2-in-1

The screen color and brightness btw, is pretty decent compared to a lot of these crappy budget laptops nowaday.

dammit, i just got a refurb dell (5490) and the hdmi port appears to be nonfunctional, which is a dealbreaker since i use an ext monitor regularly. gonna return it but now i'm in a quandary - take chances on another refurb from dell (not to mention waiting days for shipment) or run out to the store and buy another brand for a bit more $

FYI an interesting thing about this model is that the WWAN slot can be used as a 2nd m2/nvme ssd slot (the shorter 2230 length though)
