I'm not particularly educated on the subject, but it does say 144hz with the capability to overclock to 165hz. Is the difference negligible? Is the only practical refresh rate for this monitor actually 144hz?

This is definitely a great deal for an awesome product. I thought most pcs can't push 165hz and the will throttle down.

If your looking for quantity for value Sceptre offers a 27in curved monitor. For $130

Would you have a link to the C27 (144hz) unit for $130?

Amazon has one for $130. It is of the 75hz version of this model (C275W-1920RN).

https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-Mo...8328&psc=1

The C275B-QWD168 seems to be $100 more at various retailers.

I think it is HDMI 2.0. But does it matter to the console kids? I thought you only needed 2.1 if you were rolling 4k.

I placed an order for two Samsung panels that has yet to be shipped so can still cancel.

https://www.samsung.com/us/comput...350fhnxza/

For a non gamer, should I stick with the Samsung or pickup two of the Acer in this deal?

Was going to have dual monitor setup.

If you care for monitor stands, the stands the samsungs come with don't let you tilt, swivel, or adjust the height of the monitor. The acer one does.

I was actually going to put both monitors on a VESA supported stand to open up desk space. It sounds like this is a toss up for non gaming and maybe go with the lowest price one.

Also, 1080p on a 27" doesn't look as sharp as on a 24" and looks slightly more pixelated. I personally don't mind it but others might feel differently. The Acer also had HDR10.

How do you overclock a monitor?
