Not a bad starter camera at all, but you could get a Z50 refurb + a 16-50 direct from Nikon at the same price range and be able to shoot better video, better autofocus, and use Z lenses (or F with an adapter).

Personally I feel if you start getting north of 700 on pricing. Skip the camera you'll outgrow quickly. I'd recommend saving just a little bit more and get a Z 5 refurb so you have a full frame and the latest tech.

100% agree with all that, while I believe the Z50 is a lot smaller and may not fit larger hands as well as the D series. I've been waiting for a "deal" on the Z6ii myself, but that's like finding a unicorn.

I paid half this for my factory refurb D5600, not a good price. The lens is worth like $50.
