If it's too runny, you skipped step 2.

Permatex® Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue, 2.5 ML
  1. Clean and dry parts.
  2. Shake bottle of Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue well before each use.
  3. Remove cap and snip nozzle tip.
  4. Apply Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue to threaded areas and assemble parts.

Bought one

Are they so cheap because they're about to expire, or already expired?

How long can it last unopened?

Why so many thread locker posts recently? Genuine question. Did I miss the memo on picking some up?

Hmmmm. I never knew they would expire. I have needed some for a while and so I'm really happy to find this deal :-) I bought mine probably 10 years ago. As others have mentioned, do be sure to shake it.

I have to agree that this is a tube, not a bottle. With that said, I fully admit that I didn't know I was supposed to shake it. I threw away the package and just kept the tube, which doesn't have any instruction. It wouldn't hurt them to print "shake before use" on the tube too.

Amazon tells me I bought one in 2019. Haven't used it. Will it still be good or I need to get new one?
