This is not wood. This is particle board with the cheapest laminate available. Total trash.

Calling this headboard "wood" is like calling Cheese Whiz "cheese".

Probably good for a guest bedroom that would see seldom use. The surface is "paper laminate" which is literally the worst laminate - so if this is your primary bed and you like to rest your back against it (e.g watching tv in the bed), that thing will get destroyed very fast. My bedframe from Wayfair is made of paper laminate, and you could literally take your fingernail, and scrape it off !

So you're saying plywood and particle board isn't wood.It may not be high quality wood but it still is and cheese is a form of cheese just not a good one and a manufactured but it's is what it is.

People are trashing this but I think it's good for a kids or guess room.Plus most people don't buy headboards any longer and I would know I'm in furniture sales.

I bought this when it first went on discount. For $30 - it's not a bad deal, yeah it's not real but it looks decent for those who don't want their room looking like a college dorm.
