YMMV - Tribit Xsound Go 16w Bluetooth Speaker for $15. Found in the electronics section with a few different ONN branded speakers. Funny thing is the ONNs are more expensive. Link is for reference only. The site says it's not available for pickup in my store even though there were a decent amount there hence the YMMV. I'll try to take a picture of the actual 'display' next time I'm there. Uploaded a pic of my reciept for the time being.

Also thank you for a 'hands-on review'. I've seen Tribit things posted on here a few times and almost bit on a deal before I got my Soundcore 2 for a little bit more, now I'm glad I didn't. I know Anker/Soundcore are quality and have a great warranty/customer service so I don't mind paying a bit more for them, but at the $15 price point, this thing beats any other speaker out of the water.

Last year this speaker was FP at a higher price and folks on SD went gaga over it.
I got one to try as my workplace desktop speaker, if anything it can always be returned.
I haven't heard much about the more budget options.

The people above have no clue what they are taking about. Maybe they were referring to the XSound Surf - which is similar in size/appearance, but definitely tinny in sound compared to this model.
The XSound Go is a fantastic speaker. I've had mine since 2018 (previous 12w model, micro USB) and it's a workhorse. Its compact size allows me to take it anywhere with excellent overall sound and with solid bass, especially for its size.
I also have the previous gen Maxsound Plus and just recently got the Stormbox Blast (that thing is an absolute BEAST). Tribit makes quality stuff. I just hope they make a JBL Partybox 710/1000 ish competitor (for much less that is) because the Partybox 710 is going to be my next purchase - just waiting for an SD alert on a lower price. lol
And a simple Google search will show that the XSound Go is a very highly rated bluetooth speaker. Even Wirecutter (say what you want about them and their credibility) rated this speaker the best in its class. And now @ $15, this is a no-brainer.

Thanks again OP. Repped.
Picked up this Tribit last night and promptly listened in the parking lot. Wow. This thing has some pretty decent bass and its size makes me a lot more inclined to use it over my JBL, plus this is USB-C. Also, since it's black, perfect for using while working on my vehicle. My grey JBL shows I've used it during oil changes, haha.
The people who said who it was tinny sounding... 😂 Yeah, no, tinny this is not. Is the midrange rather THIN? Yes, perhaps. On tracks from bands like Pantera, yeah I'll give you that. Use Wavelet and a simple preset like Loudness to fix that thin/hollow midrange (sacrificing some treble detail, albeit) and presto.
Insane sound for $15. Thanks OP!
P.S. I use FLACs and Amazon Music for reference.
