Roku are worthless unless you pay for monthly premium.
You cannot remotely access the SD card on the Roku version.... Which means every few days you have to pull the card , view footage, wipe, reinstall. Doin g that over 4 cameras every few days is dumb.

With wyze you can do it all from the app

Since I missed out on the WYVE V3-Camera-Spotlight $13 super Deal. I will share my new WYZE & HomeDepot plan of Action.
Anytime I am near any HD, I find out who has the keys to the Cage; which is right past the self checkout in my nearest HD. Easy Price Check from the Register. $34.99 each V3 2-Pack. Bought two last night. Going back for two more today!

PS: HD website shows ZERO available within 100 miles of my nearest store.

2.4ghz is fine provided it's not causing too much interference with say your garage opener. It's often used as the frequency has better reach than 5ghz. I've got 25 v3s running on a sub $100 Asus AC/wifi5 router. All have cheap microcenter branded MicrosSD cards and no subscription. I can get 5-10 days playback depending on if the cards are 64 or 128GB respectively.

For those concerned about security, best to put any IoT devices in a separate vlan. That way it doesn't touch your computers. Don't have a router that can provide multiple separate SSIDs? Time to upgrade routers.

None was in 100 mi not available for delivery but says available for same day delivery for another $35 hmm but going near enough there tomorrow we'll go in as suggested

just FYI, I purchased the last HD 2 pack bundle with Cam Plus but the 2 mo. but trial would not activate. Wyze support advised it was tied to the Serial # of the cams sold by HD. Despite their valiant effort of back-and-forth email, their suggested solution was for me to purchase the annual plan and then request a refund for the difference.

Tried to order this morning. OOS withing 100 miles, but ad said was available for delivery. About an hour later got an order cancellation. I bought some from Micro Center. White was $23. Black was $29. Both were for pickup only. Okay if you have a MC nearby. But that's about it. I only needed two. They also had the V2 Pan Cam for $29. Ordered one for pickup also. YMMV.

Been waiting for this and in Fresno too. Just happens to be on the day I leave for vacation and I see this while I'm at the airport. Delivery initially showed free, and then changed to $35 😕

FYI, Wyze just removed the RTSP firmware and have zero Onvif capabilities... Bought but a pissed off customer.

Just google Wyze RTSP and there's a reddit thread with links to the firmware on the Wyze site. Or I can just link the thread https://www.reddit.com/r/wyzecam/...n_website/

Also I bought it for shipping online last time it showed up. HD sent me an email saying it's on backorder and still hasn't shipped yet. So there's that. I might check some stores but just FYI to anyone else.

They sent an email a few days ago.
Takeaways:
1. They had excess inventory due to supply chain issues and they hoped everyone was able to snag a deal.
2. 2023 is going to be the year of the camera. Announcements coming soon.

However, if all you are trying to do is monitor if you've got a package at the door, or if the water heater is leaking, you really don't need a 2K or 4K camera.
