You cannot remotely access the SD card on the Roku version.... Which means every few days you have to pull the card , view footage, wipe, reinstall. Doin g that over 4 cameras every few days is dumb.

For those concerned about security, best to put any IoT devices in a separate vlan. That way it doesn't touch your computers. Don't have a router that can provide multiple separate SSIDs? Time to upgrade routers.

However, if all you are trying to do is monitor if you've got a package at the door, or if the water heater is leaking, you really don't need a 2K or 4K camera.
Thanks for the info. They do have a v3 Pro out with 2K but it doesn't offer much improvements to the v3 from the reviews I've read/seen.

but... 2.4GHz is what you want for cameras, especially cameras you're going to be putting outside, potentially at the corners of your house. add in the density of 5GHz due to the channel widths and it starts to suck pretty good... you don't need the speeds of 5GHz for compressed 1080 or 2K, so it's rather pointless anyway.
side note...
do they still have that hilarious 5min cooldown time between 12sec event clips?
