Note that Marvel says the $55 price is valid just for the first year, but I've been getting it for the same price last 3 years. Just make sure you let the current sub expire, and sign up with the coupon code. If your current subscription hasn't expired you can always buy a gift subscription for $55 and redeem it after the sub expires.
I usually cancel subscription immediately after getting it. The subscription still runs till the end of one year, so you don't need to worry about setting a reminder.

I seem to have lost interest in comics after high school and whatever rekindled interest with marvel movies died after the end game movie.
not sure if it is middle age or they just milked the cow too much on these.
In all seriousness, what is the motivation to come into a thread dedicated to comic books and proceed to bully someone who reads comic books? Are you planning on telling your friends, "I went out of my way to make fun of someone on a deals forum for liking something I don't, because I'm that awesome."?

If you are not sure that the coupon will still be valid, I think you can gift a subscription to yourself. Just redeem it after your current sub runs out.
