I put my moto stylus g with a red pocket verizon sim in the same spot and speed test was higher 27 down / 7.5 up. I'm on their 3gb/annual plan and don't use much data. It's $180/yr (not a sale price) so same as visible.
Also Verizon even postpaid 4G congestion is so bad that data/text are pretty much impossible in a crowded area. Verizon also has less 5G towers than anyone else at this point.
We were on Verizon postpaid sat in an arena and airport with full bars but unuseable data. Switched to ATT prepaid and in same locations didn't miss a beat.
Just don't assume 5G is available where you're at especially in smaller towns.

lakeland flordia, 8 down, 2 up
deland florida 110 down, 40 up (shows 5g)
aburndale flordia: 50 down, 30 up
plant city floridia: 3 down, 1 up
So bascially, everything form it being the literally best internet with zero lag from being pretty much unusable other than for calls.
all within the 2 hours of driving time
This was done with the pixel 7, as it has the most bands and would be a better canidate than an iphone 6s, which is what phone i currently use with it.
this isn't helpful other than to indicate that its very much YYMV, my home location is a terrible 2 down, 0.5 up, but just 15 min drive away, its stupid fast.
Maybe in 6 months.
